Proud to support the tradespeople of the future, CORGI is once again delighted to be one of this year’s sponsors of the HIP UK Heating Apprentice of the Year competition. The final, which will take place on 27th and 28th April, will see the competition come to an end as the seven finalists battle it out to be crowned the 2016 winner.
They’ll be given a task to work on over 15 hours and the person with the best result will become the HIP UK Heating Apprentice of the Year. The final day will include a talk from special guest The Apprentice winner Joseph Valente just before the winner is announced.
Caitriona Deakin, Chief Executive Officer at CORGI comments: “We would like to congratulate all the finalists who have made it this far in the competition. As they continue forward in the industry, we look forward to using our 40-year heritage to help give them a unique perspective on what homeowners are looking for and what they need to serve them effectively. Significantly, CORGI’slicensed products and services provide a complete professional toolkit, which takes the hassle and expense out of procurement, whilst helping members provide exceptional value and solve customer problems.”
Managing Director of SNG Publishing Celia Matthews said: “Here at SNG we are all about supporting the next generation and helping to increase their confidence. We’re really excited about the competition this year because not only have more people entered than ever before, but the skill level has been better than we’ve ever seen before in the history of the competition and it has been running for eight years now. There are some very strong competitors – you just can’t call who’s going to win it.”
