A survey of more than 1,000 homeowners has provided insight into the relationship between tradespeople and their customers.
One of the notable conclusions from the survey is that 1 in 25 customers classify themselves as ‘rouge customers.’ This means they have at some stage missed appointments, paid late or deliberately avoided paying part of their bill.
The survey also shows that 18% of people find tradespeople using the Internet, as opposed to 11% using the traditional methods of the Yellow Pages and local directories. This shows the importance for tradespeople of having a strong online presence for their business.
