The most efficient version of VW’s light van, which the brand revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013, has official fuel consumption of 61.4mpg on the combined cycle – 6mpg more efficient than the current Caddy with Bluemotion Technology – giving it a claimed driving range of 800 miles. The Bluemotion van emits 119g/km of CO2.
The new Caddy Bluemotion is available in short-wheel base panel van form only, it is powered by a 1.6-litre TDI common rail direct injection engine that develops 102hp and 250 Nm of torque.
Standard features of the new Caddy Bluemotion include hill hold assist and cruise control. The Caddy Bluemotion features exclusive styling cues such as multi-spoke 15-inch wheel covers, body-coloured side guard strips and black and blue coloured trim fabric.
